Why does ECRCHS need my Health Insurance information?
The ECRCHS weekly COVID Testing program has administered over 150,000 PCR COVID Tests throughout the 2021-2022 school year. Weekly COVID Testing has enabled us keep our school community healthy by swiftly detecting and quarantining over 460 positive cases. As of March 24, 2022, federal funding of COVID-19 testing and treatment for uninsured individuals is no longer available through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). This program previously covered the cost of all COVID Tests administered at ECRCHS.
To limit use of funds intended for your student's instructional program, we are requiring all families with health insurance to add this information to their COVID Testing profile (provided by Fulgent Genetics). As an independent charter, ECRCHS is not affiliated with LAUSD and does not have access to money and resources offered by the district.
Will I be billed for my student's COVID Testing?
No, families will not be billed out of pocket for COVID Testing. Health Insurance plans are required to pay for COVID Testing at no cost to members in compliance with the CARES Act.
What do I need to do?
Please open the email you received from Fulgent Genetics to add your health insurance information to your student's COVID Testing profile (provided by Fulgent Genetics). This process should only take a few minutes. Please note that changes will not be updated in the system until clicking click "SAVE MODIFICATIONS" at the end of Step 9.

Please follow the instructions below to complete the form again to verify that your information is up to date.

Check your email inbox for an email from Fulgent Genetics <DoNotReply@mail.fulgentgenetics.com>
The subject line is "Modify your information with Fulgent Genetics"
Find and click the orange button labeled "MODIFY YOUR INFORMATION HERE"

Select "Yes" to the question "Do you have health insurance?"
Verify the information on each page. When done, click "SAVE AND CONTINUE"
STEP 4
Enter your Insurance Provider.
When done, click "SAVE AND CONTINUE"
STEP 5
Enter your Insurance Member ID, Group Number (if applicable), and Relationship to the Insured.
When done, click "VERIFY INSURANCE PLAN"

When done, click "SAVE AND CONTINUE"
STEP 7
You are not required to enter vaccine information on Fulgent. Select No.
Then, click "SAVE AND CONTINUE"
STEP 8
If prompted, you are not required to enter a drivers license or social security number. You may click "I am unable to provide either" to skip this question.
STEP 9
Confirm Your Information.
When done, click "SAVE MODIFICATIONS"
